Working closely with the interior designers, we were privileged to supply our tiles to this landmark Hotel.
A design which fused traditional and contemporary styles in the centre of historic York called for a mixed palette of tiles. In the Bedrooms, we kept things simple with our Flat White 200x200mm as the main wall tile paired with our Factory Décor Square Series 200x200mm as a shower feature tile. On the floor was our Brushed Nero 330x330mm which provided a striking slip resistant contrast to the white wall tiles.
In the Bar area, we sourced some traditional encaustic cement floor tiles to provide a design lead floor surface for the Bar Walk and Toilet areas.
For the Reception Area, we were asked for something bold, something memorable, so we were happy to source and provide a new tile called Rombo. Rombo was supplied in three colours; black, white and grey and with its elongated diamond, it created a 3D cube design which captured the essence of what the designers intended.
